Earth Day 2026

Celebrate Earth Day 2026 with us! In cooperation with the Lipka educational center, this year we will shine a light on light as a source and its impact on humans, plants, and animals. Even light has its dark side. We will explore both the positive and negative aspects of light together on Earth Day 2026 in the park on Kraví hora in Brno. We will clarify how to choose and use light sources correctly and economically, talk about daily and annual cycles, the impact of different types of light on plants, animals, and humans, including how light affects life in Brno itself.
You can look forward to games and creative stations for children, an inspiring program for adults, concerts, theater performances, scientific experiments, and a program from teams at Brno University of Technology!
