Testing Electronic Systems in the Automotive Industry
How do we verify that electronic systems can withstand demanding operating conditions?
Václav Růžek, a FEKT VUT alumnus who leads testing at Škoda Auto’s proving ground near Mladá Boleslav, will present the development, testing and approval processes for electronic systems before they enter production.
The lecture will focus on the integration testing of systems in vehicles, logging and evaluating faults in in-vehicle data buses, and electromagnetic compatibility. Václav Růžek also specialises in pre-certification electromagnetic immunity testing and innovative EMC testing methods for driver assistance systems. He will share practical experience and engaging examples from the automotive industry.
