Technological battle at Merkur PerFEKT Challenge 2025–26: winners of eight categories can look forward to the super final

On Thursday, November 13, 2025, our faculty hosted another edition of the prestigious Merkur PerFEKT Challenge competition for high school teams. This year, approximately 200 students from 23 high schools in the Czech Republic and Slovakia took part in the competition, divided into eight thematic assignments. Each task had its own winner, and the best teams earned the chance to advance to the super final in January.
Perfect atmosphere, creativity, and team spirit
A day full of creativity and technical challenges brought a number of inspiring solutions – from wind turbine models and robotic arms to innovative transport vehicles and automated sorting systems. The competitors gave it their all: they collaborated, experimented, fine-tuned their designs and programming, all in a friendly but competitive atmosphere.
A big thank you goes to all participants for their dedication, perseverance, and enthusiasm. It was clear that for many, this was not only a technical challenge, but also a great opportunity to show what they can do – and at the same time draw inspiration for future studies and projects.
We would also like to thank our partner companies, which supported the competition by providing prizes for the contestants, among other things. Thanks to them, we can create an inspiring environment and motivate young people to further develop their skills. Thank you for your cooperation.

What next?
The winners of each category are now preparing for the super final, which will take place on January 27, 2026, at our faculty. There, they will compete for the title of overall winner, the challenge cup, and other great prizes. We look forward to seeing the same energy, creative approach, and perfect team spirit that shone through again this year in the final.
