Students from ISEP spent July at Brno University of Technology

Students from the French higher education institution ISEP – École d’ingénieurs du numérique completed a study stay at Brno University of Technology (BUT) in July. The month-long programme, held from 7 to 31 July, built on the long-standing cooperation between the two institutions and their partnership agreement focused on supporting international student mobility, developing international learning experiences, and strengthening intercultural understanding.

The students attended courses at both the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication (FEEC) and the Faculty of Business and Management (FBM). At FEEC, they focused mainly on professional written and oral communication as well as the development of intercultural competences. The programme also included excursions to Thermo Fisher Scientific and Honeywell, giving students insight into the operations of international technology companies based in Brno. The second part of the programme took place at the Faculty of Business and Management, where students focused on business management. In addition to their studies, they had the opportunity to experience the academic environment at BUT and gain insights into studying in an international setting.

“International summer programmes are an important part of BUT’s internationalisation strategy. They allow students to gain new professional and cultural experiences while also providing an opportunity to showcase the quality of our education and university facilities to our international partners. We are pleased that our cooperation with ISEP has been developing successfully over the long term and brings benefits to both institutions,” said Stanislav Klusáček, Vice Dean for Internationalisation at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, Brno University of Technology.
