Activity

Proving that physics is not confined to the realm of theory, our department collaborates with industrial corporations on designing devices to control and monitor diverse stages of the manufacturing cycle. The more theoretical research performed in the department‘s laboratories then involves examining semiconductors and dielectrics, nanosensors, and related components. By definition, the main topics of interest for our scientists are electric charge transport processes; noise spectroscopy; local characterization at nanoresolution; and component quality and reliability indicators.
