Three days, hundreds of diplomas, lots of emotions: Graduation 2025
At the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication of the BUT we celebrated the successful completion of our graduates' studies during the first three days of July. The graduation ceremony took place from July 1 to 3, 2025 in the Professor Brauner Auditorium and hundreds of students - fresh engineers and bachelors - passed through the ceremony.
A diploma that counts
Each graduate received a diploma during the ceremony, symbolically completing an important stage and taking away not only a degree but also a memory of a moment that was often moving, proud and full of applause. The festive atmosphere was enhanced by the academic choir in gowns, music and the families and loved ones who supported the students on their journey.
This year's graduation ceremony also brought one interesting moment - for the first time at FEEC a woman was introduced in the role of a beadle at a graduation ceremony, which is not very common at the BUT. She led the ceremonial parade with poise and elegance.
The path to the degree was not easy
Behind every “Bc.” or “Ing.” there are years of hard work - lectures, laboratories, calculations, team projects and state final exams. That is why we are rightly proud of our graduates. Technical education is not an easy path, but it provides a strong foundation for career, business and further professional growth.
Whether our graduates are headed for further graduate studies, practice or perhaps a well-deserved retirement, we believe they take away not only knowledge but also valuable experience, friendships and unforgettable experiences.
Graduation photos
We prepare a photo gallery from each graduation day - you can find a public selection on the faculty's social networks, and each graduate will also receive their own photo package with a link to the full run gallery.
You can stand on the podium too!
If you've yet to dream of a moment like this - Round 2 of the application process is open right now. You can apply for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication offers a wide range of study fields with applications in industry, research and modern technologies.
