1st International Teaching Week at FEEC connected 11 international lecturers with students and staff

From 13 to 17 October 2025, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication at BUT hosted the first edition of the International Teaching Week (ITW). A total of 11 lecturers from partner universities came to Brno to present and discuss current research, teaching approaches, and future-oriented topics in the fields of computer vision, artificial intelligence, electromobility, transportation, and cybernetics.
The program combined guest lectures, networking activities, and discussions on the internationalization of education. Among the guests were experts from LUT University and Tampere University (Finland), TU Varna, TU Gabrovo, and TU Plovdiv (Bulgaria), Kore University of Enna (Italy), University of Nevada, Reno (USA), and the Mestenhauser Institute for International Collaboration.
The aim of the event was to launch a new tradition of meetings in Brno, bringing together students and academics to explore topics shaping the future of electrical engineering, computer science, and education. ITW also creates new opportunities for students and staff interested in international mobility.
