More electric aircraft - Future of aviation
Interested in future technologies? Want to learn more about the latest trends in aviation? Are you interested in how collaboration between companies and the university works?
The Departmentof Power Electrical Engineering and Electronics together with the Institute of Aeronautics and the Institute of Body Mechanics, Mechatronics and Biomechanics of Brno University of Technology in cooperation with Honeywell s.r.o. and ATAS elektromotory Náchod a.s. are organizing a series of three lectures focused on the development and future of technologies in the aerospace industry. The lectures are intended for the general public interested in aerospace technologies. The lectures will include an introduction to the concept of More electric aircraft, an introduction to the design of electric machines for aviation and the use of electromechanical actuators in aerospace applications. An integral part of the presentations will also be the presentation of research projects in which the departments of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication (FEEC) and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FSI) together with Honeywell and Atas are collaborating.
Due to epidemiological regulations, access to the lecture room is only for BUT students. For external listeners, a live stream is available on our YouTube channel.
