Thanks to their second-place finish at RoboCup Junior Slovakia, the students will compete in South Korea
The national round of the RoboCup Junior Slovakia competition took place on April 22 and 23 in Nitra at the Secondary Technical School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (SPŠSE). FEKT was there!🤖⚽
The XLC – WYLDFYRE team competed in the Soccer Infrared category (2v2 robotic soccer with an IR ball) and delivered an outstanding performance. In the group stage, they finished in 2nd place with the same number of points as the LNX Robots Infrared team and fought through to the finals. In a thrilling match, they lost by a narrow margin of 4:3, which meant they took 🥈 2nd place overall.
Team XLC – WYLDFYRE: Jakub Bohunický, Martin Šuriak: BUT FEEC), Ondřej Peter, Filip Slamka, Lucia Slamková
We are also very excited here at FEEC—our students Martin Šuriak and Jakub Bohunický are part of the team, and thanks to this result, they and their team have qualified for the RoboCup Junior World Finals in South Korea (Incheon, June 30–July 6, 2026). Before that, they still have the European round in Vienna ahead of them.

In addition, FEKT students Jan Toman and Jakub Oselka participated in the accompanying program, presenting humanoid robots through a presentation and demonstrations.
We're rooting for you in your upcoming competitions.
