Leading employers evaluate university faculties in terms of the contribution of their graduates to the labor market. Companies from all over the Czech Republic, including most major employers nationwide and in the regions, took part in the evaluation again.
After last year's "silver" medal, FME returned to the gold position this year, making it the highest-rated faculty for the eighth time in the last nine years of the survey. The silver position was taken by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Ostrava, and the bronze went to colleagues from FEEC BUT. A total of 167 entities were evaluated, i.e., individual faculties or small universities that do not have faculties. The results of FME and FEEC contributed significantly to BUT as a whole winning second place in the university category.
The ranking of university faculties continues to be dominated by mechanical engineering and technical fields in general, whose graduates are among the most sought-after on the job market. The award for the faculty and BUT as a whole was accepted by FME Vice-Dean Jana Hoderová.
