BUT Junior opens the door to knowledge for children. They began their studies with matriculation.
The next edition of the popular program BUT Junior I is here! A hundred children passionate about science, technology, and art started their junior studies over the weekend with a ceremonial matriculation at the Rectorate of BUT. During the year, they will take part in eight weekend lessons at the faculties and institutes of Brno University of Technology, where they will discover university life.

At the start of their study journey, a ceremonial matriculation took place, where the new juniorstook an oath, received their matriculation certificates, and became part of a communitythat will allow them to experience how technology and innovation work in practice.

Our junior university opens the door to a fascinating world of science, technology, and art. During this program, you will meet experts and academics who are true specialists in their fields and are ready to inspire you and share their knowledge and experience,” said Vice-Rector Sedláková.

BUT has been organizing the BUT Junior I program for many years with the goal ofbringing the world of technical and natural sciences closer to the younger generationand introducing them to university life, modern technologies, and the latest discoveries. The faculties will also welcome parents, presenting their facilities as well as current research and scientific topics resonating in society.
