Call for competition – Design of a flow chart grasping social security issues at the FEEC
'FEEC Safety Map': competition for a creative flowchart design on social security
The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication (FEEC), on behalf of the King of the BUT, Jiří Jalůvka, is pleased to announce the call for competition which provides an opportunity for students to express their creativity and contribute to the improvement of the environment at our faculty.
What is it about?
The competition, called 'FEEC Safety Map', is looking for innovative and effective flowchart designs that will improve awareness of the support opportunities available at our faculty. This design will serve as a valuable tool for students and staff to help them better understand the processes and sources of support in social security matters.
How to participate?
All FEEC students and staff are welcome to take part in the competition.
You can participate as an individual or submit a proposal as a team (max 5 members). The aim is to come up with a creative proposal for a flow chart that clearly and comprehensibly presents key information about social security at our faculty. The flowchart must include at least three different ways to address the following issues:
- Learning problems.
- Encountering inappropriate behavior.
- Problems in private life interfering with study and faculty life.
Possible means of addressing the social environment:
- Study Department
- Student advisors
- Guarantors of study programmes
- Human Resources and Legal Department
- Course evaluation survey
- Trust box
- ICV / Alfons
- …
Evaluation criteria:
- Design originality and creativity
- Comprehensive and clear information presentation
- Presentation of practical and useful advice on social security matters
How to apply?
To enter the competition, please send your proposal in .pdf format by email to fekt-bezpeci@vut.cz by 31 May 2024.
Awards:
The best designs will be awarded a financial prize of up to 10 000,- CZK and published at the FEEC website. The prize award is conditioned by the participant´s agreement to publish their design at the FEEC website and to use it for further development of social security at the faculty.
