Fees related to the study

The fees are established through the provisions of Section 58 (4), Act No. 111/1998 Coll. and further specified by decision of the Rector of Brno University of Technology (BUT).

The fee for acts related to the admission procedure for the academic year 2026/2027 shall be CZK 700/EUR 28 for each application for admission to study. The bank details will also be displayed on the BUT website after submitting the online application.

The fee for acts related to the assessment of foreign education in the admission procedure for the academic year 2026/2027 shall be CZK 750/EUR 30 for each submitted application for assessment of foreign education. The tuition fee per year is EUR 1,000 for EU and Ukrainian students and EUR 4,500 for non-EU students, see the Dean´ s Decision - Tuition fees relating to the study programs in English.

Tuition fees deadline

The tuition fees are to be paid into the bank account of the FEEC. The tuition must be paid before the enrollment to the study.

The proof of payment must be delivered to the FEEC by September 15 of the given year.

Students from non-EU countries can take advantage of a special offer concerning a scholarship to cover the second half of the tuition fee per year.

Tuition, fees, living expenses and financial aid

Tuition and fees are EUR 2,500 per year.

In individual cases, for specific reasons (excellent study and/or research results), the Dean can decide upon reduced fees up to 50%.

The BUT residential system can accommodate all its foreign graduate students (approximately EUR 120/month); housing in the Brno area is also possible (approximately EUR 200/month). Graduate students’ expenses for housing, food, books, medical insurance, and incidentals vary widely, depending on their marital status, quality-of-life expectations and housing arrangements. For example, the price of lunch is EUR 5-10, so the monthly costs of living may vary between EUR 300-600.

Students in doctoral's degree study programme given in English have to pay one year's tuition fee in the amount of EUR 2,500. The tuition fee is to be sent to the FEEC bank account.
