Meeting with foreign employees of FEEC
On Thursday, January 22, 2026, a meeting between the faculty management and foreign employees took place at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication of the Brno University of Technology.
The aim of the meeting was to provide up-to-date information on the support available at the Brno University of Technology and to open up space for discussion and sharing of experiences among foreign colleagues working at the faculty.
The program included a presentation on social security and equal opportunities at BUT and HR Excellence in Research. The main part of the program was a moderated discussion focusing, among other things, on administrative and personnel processes, language barriers, working conditions and everyday life at the faculty, integration into the FECUT academic community, and career development opportunities.
The faculty management appreciated the open feedback from the participants, which will be used to identify and gradually remove obstacles and to improve the support and integration of foreign employees. The meeting took place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere and brought a number of specific suggestions for the further development of the internationalization of the faculty's academic environment.
