On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication (FEEC) at Brno University of Technology hosted the 32nd edition of the STUDENT EEICT 2026 conference. A total of 164 participants, including bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students as well as secondary school students, took part in the competition section. They presented their research projects to expert panels composed of academic staff and industry professionals.
On the same day, the 17th edition of the PerFEKT JobFair career fair was also held on the faculty premises. A total of 47 companies, mainly from the fields of power engineering, electronics, information and communication technologies, and other high-tech sectors, attended the event to meet students in person. Company representatives introduced opportunities for collaboration during studies, including part-time jobs, internships, trainee programs, and potential full-time employment.
The day concluded with a ceremonial announcement of the competition results and the presentation of awards to the top participants. Once again, the STUDENT EEICT conference confirmed its importance as a key platform connecting students, academia, and industry partners, while also serving as an inspiration for students’ further professional and scientific activities.
