The Elektrikárium entertainment science laboratory introduces children to the world of electrical engineering.
At Elektrikárium, an educational entertainment center at FEEC BUT, children learn the basics of electrical engineering in a playful and understandable way. Interactive exhibits and practical demonstrations allow them to discover the principles of how electricity works, try out simple experiments, and experience the joy of learning about technology firsthand.
Since September last year, 13 programs have been held here in cooperation with elementary schools from Brno and the surrounding area. The visits also include a tour of other faculty facilities – students most often visited the mobile robot laboratory, where they had the opportunity to see modern technology in practice.
However, Elektrikárium is not only intended for schools. It has also been visited by interest groups, suburban camps, and the general public as part of various events organized by the faculty.
